This describes exactly what yass & sass collects and what happens to it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect

Your email address. We use it to sign you in. There are no passwords on this site, so the address is how we know it is you.

Whatever you put in your profile. A display name, a handle, a city, a short bio, an Instagram handle. All of it optional, all of it editable, all of it deletable by you at any time.

What you save. Gigs you mark interested or going, artists you follow, drops you ask to hear about. This is the entire point of having an account.

Anything you send us. If you use the contact form, we keep your name, email and message so we can reply.

Orders, once the shop opens. What you bought, what you paid, and where to ship it.

Aggregate traffic data. Which pages get visited and how fast they load. This is cookieless and not tied to you.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics that follow you around the internet. We do not email you things you did not ask for.

Who else touches it

Three companies process data on our behalf, and only to do the job we hired them for:

  • Supabase stores the database and runs sign-in. Your data sits in their Mumbai region.
  • Vercel hosts the site and serves the pages.
  • Resend delivers the emails, including your sign-in links.

When the shop opens, a payment provider will process payments. We will never see or store your full card details.

Who can see what

Your profile is private unless you choose to appear in the member directory. You can turn that off at any time and you disappear from it immediately.

What you save is yours. Other members cannot see which gigs you saved or which artists you follow. Gig pages show how many people saved a night, never who.

The founders can see member accounts and messages sent to us, because running the site requires it.

How long we keep it

Your account and everything attached to it stays until you ask us to delete it. Order records are kept longer, because tax and consumer law require it.

What you can ask for

A copy of everything we hold about you. A correction. Deletion of your account and everything attached to it. Write to us and we will do it, without making you argue about it first.

Changes

If this changes in a way that matters, we will say so rather than quietly updating the date at the top.
